Consultation on NHS migrant and visitor charges

In April 2015, the NHS began charging for some secondary care services for visitors and migrants from outside the European Economic Area (EEA). The Government is now consulting on extending these charges to other areas, such as non-NHS providers of NHS Care and Out-of-Hospital Care, and NHS Continuing Healthcare.

Dying Matters Awareness Week launch event

Monday saw the Dying Matters Awareness Week launch. This was a sell-out event, with around 160 delegates in attendance, which made it ideal for networking and hearing about peoples’ plans for Dying Matters Awareness Week itself (9th – 15th May).
