Palliative Care Leadership Collaborative

The Palliative Care Leadership Collaborative, set up following the Commission into the future of hospice care, brings together individuals in national leadership positions working in palliative care from across the four nations of the UK and Ireland. Their aim is to work together in a coordinated and strategic manner to improve individuals’ experience of end of life care based on what matters to them.

Membership of the Collaborative is open to all leaders of organisations that have a national or UK wide remit in hospice and palliative care in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It is also open to senior academics focusing on hospice/palliative/end of life care. Other individuals may be co-opted by the group. The interests of both children and adults living with life limiting/life threatening conditions will be represented in the membership.

The chair is Dame Barbara Monroe, supported by Claire Henry and Maria McGill as vice chairs.  If you would like to know more about the work of the Collaborative or how to become involved, please contact Phillipa Casbon p.casbon@ncpc.org.uk  or Heather Richardson h.richardson@stchristophers.org.uk for more information.

You can find minutes from the last meeting with accompanying papers and presentations on the resources tab on the left of this page.
