Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators and Their Deactivation

The aim of this page is to raise awareness of the potential dilemmas that devices such as ICDs introduce in advanced disease management, and to promote discussion about the possibility of deactivating the defibrillator function of the ICDs in patients who are reaching the end of their life.
