Transforming End of Life Care in Partnership with Patients and Carers

14th July 2009
Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, Coram Street, London WC1N 1HT

The views of patients, their carers and others must be taken into account when designing, planning, delivering and improving health and social care services. How can we do this in End of Life Care and how will it help us to provide better services? This one day conference showcased examples of how involvement has helped transform end of life care services. It provided practical guidance, along with opportunities to share successes and explore challenges.

This conference:

  • Explored the interface between involving service users and end of life care
  • Demonstrated how involving people can enrich and shape end of life care through practical examples
  • Shared guidance from NCPC’s user involvement project
  • Provided opportunities for networking and shared learning
